In this study, freshly harvested broccolies were sealed within the 20(A), 25(B) and 30(C) micron (u) thick maksifresh, additionally within the 30 u poliethylene and 10 u PVC films were stored at 20°C and 0°C. The C02 concentrations were produced in the packages were not significantly different. The 02 concentration in the packages used by maksifresh A and PVC films occured around 18 % that was nearly the normal air. But at both 0°C and 20°C it was nearly 12 % in the packeges prepared using by a maksifresh B, C and poliethylene films. In the consideration of quality criteries of the fruit such as colour, weight loss and the amuonth of decayed fruits, it was observed that the broccolies stored as a control and with PVC films were not usefull as a food. It was found that at least 83 % of broccolies can be marketable at the end of the 6 days storage at 20°C or at 0°C for 32 days within the 30 |i maksifresh or poliethylene.

Bu araştırmada yeni hasat edilmiş brokoli, ambalajlama malzemesi olarak da 20 (A), 25 (B) ve 30 (C) mikron (u) kalınlıklarında maksifreş, 30 ^ polietilen ve 10 \ı PVC filmler kullanılarak ambalajlanmıştır. Farklı filmlerin kullanımıyla elde edilen brokoli ambalajlarının, ambalaj içi C02 konsantrasyonları arasında önemli bir farklılık bulunamamıştır. Maksifreş A ve PVC filmleri ile ambalajlananların ambalaj içi 02 konsantrasyonları % 18 gibi yüksek değerde oluşurken, Maksifreş B, C ve polietilen ile ambalajlanan ambalaj içi 02 konsantrasyonları ise yaklaşık % 12 civarında gerçekleşmiştir. Renk değişimleri, ağırlık kayıpları ve bozulma miktarları dikkate alındığında her iki depolama sıcaklığında, kontrol olarak açıkta ve PVC ile ambalajlanarak depolanan brokolilerin kullanılamaz halde oldukları belirlenmiştir. Özellikle 30 p. kalınlığındaki maksifreş ve polietilen ile ambalajlanan brokolilerin yine yukardaki kalite kriterleri dikkate alındığında 20°C de 6 gün veya 0°C 32 gün depolama sonunda en az % 83'ünün pazarlanabilir durumda oldukları saptanmıştır.
