Research was conducted to find out the races of Meloidogyne incognita (Kofoid & White, 1919) (Nemata: Meloidogynidae) in Erbaa and Niksar vegetable fields in Tokat in 2007-2008. For this purpose, 33 root knot nematode M. incognita populations were determinated. Races determined by the North Carolina host test. As a result, two races of M. incognita (race 1 and race 2) were found in 33 population. The ratio of race 1 was 87,8% while race 2 was 12,1%. Race 2 was only found in Erbaa plain.

Araştırma, 2007-2008 yıllarında Tokat ili Erbaa ve Niksar ovası sebze alanlarında bulunan kök ur nematodu Meloidogyne incognita (Kofoid & White, 1919) (Nemata: Meloidogynidae)’nın ırklarını saptamak amacıyla yürütülmüştür. Bu amaç için kök ur nematodu M. incognita’ya ait 33 populasyon incelenmiştir. Irklar “Kuzey Karolina Konukçu Testi”ne göre tespit edilmiştir. Sonuç olarak incelenen 33 populasyondan M. incognita’ya ait %87,8 oranında ırk 1, %12,2 oranında ırk 2 tespit edilmiştir. Irk 2’ye yalnızca Erbaa ilçesinde rastlanmıştır.
