In this study, the length-weight relationships of the 9 fish species (Capoeta tinca, Leuciscus cephalus, Chondrostoma regium, Barbus plebejus, Capoeta capoeta, Oncorhynchus mykiss, Chalcalburnus chalcoides, Cyprinus carpio and Siluris glanis) living in the Almus Dam Lake (Turkey-Tokat) were determined. Specimens were obtained between 2005 and 2006 by using gillnets with differing mesh sizes (17, 25, 36, 60 and 70 mm). The minimum, the maximum and the mean “b” values of the length-weight relationship among these 9 species were estimated as 2.709 (for C. chalcoides), 3.267 (for C. regium) and 3.065 (±0.17), respectively. The relationship between length and weight were calculated maximum in C. carpio (r2= 0.99) and minimum in C. chalcoides (r2= 0.91). Growth was found as positive allometric for C. tinca, L. cephalus, C. regium, O. mykiss and isometric for B. plebejus, C. capoeta, C. chalcoides, C. carpio and S. glanis.

Bu çalışmada Almus (Tokat-Türkiye) Baraj Gölü’nde yaşayan 9 balık türünün (Capoeta tinca, Leuciscus cephalus, Chondrostoma regium, Barbus plebejus, Capoeta capoeta, Oncorhynchus mykiss, Chalcalburnus chalcoides, Cyprinus carpio ve Siluris glanis) boy-ağırlık ilişkileri tespit edilmiştir. Balık örneklemeleri 2005-2006 yılları arasında farklı göz açıklığında (17, 25, 36, 60, 70 mm) galsama ağları kullanılarak gerçekleştirilmiştir. Örneklenen 9 türün boy-ağırlık ilişkisindeki “b” değeri en küçük 2.709 (C. chalcoides), en büyük 3.267 (C. regium) ve ortalama 3.065 (±0.17) olarak tespit edilmiştir. Boy-ağırlık arasında en yüksek (r2= 0.99) ilişki C. carpio türünde en düşük (r2= 0.91) ilişki ise C. chalcoides türünde hesaplanmıştır. Büyümenin C. tinca, L. cephalus, C. regium ve O. mykiss türlerinde pozitif allometrik, B. plebejus, C. capoeta, C. chalcoides, C. carpio ve S. glanis türlerinde ise izometrik olduğu belirlenmiştir.
