Abstract (2. Language):
The importance of mental skills training in the development of athletic performance is widely recognized. The purpose of this paper was to determine the effects of a mental training program, consist of imagery, breath work and relaxation on some motor parameters (dynamic balance, flexibility and agility) in 10-12 aged novice soccer players. Twenty-nine novice soccer player aged 10-12 from the Sanliurfa Soccer Training Center completed the study. Participants were tested for sit and reach, dynamic balance and 20 m sprint at baseline and 14 weeks later. Then participants were randomly assigned to experimental group and control group. The training group took part in mental training sessions consist of imagery, breath work and relaxation associated with physical practise three days a week for 14 weeks. The trained group significantly (p

Deney grubu; dinamik denge (13.20
