Abstract (2. Language):
In this study, we evaluated the sensitivity of standart electrophysiological studies in the pregnant women with carpal tunnel syndrome (CIS), compared with the non-pregnant women with ("IS and the pregnant women without ("IS. The electrophysiological abnormalities in the pregnant women with ("IS were present 2~.3% versus ')! "% for non-pregnant women with ("IS. Significantly different results on standart electrophysiological parameters were present between three groups. We concluded that different electrophysiological investigation and parameters on suspicion of ("IS m the pregnant women are needed when the standart electrophysiological studies are normal. /.Journal of Turgut (hal .Medical Center l{4):2i)3-2>H>.IW4/
Abstract (Original Language):
Karpal tünel sendromlu (KTS) gebelerde standart elektrofizyolojik incelemelerin duyarlılığı ve normal gebeler ve gebe olmayan KTS'lu kadınlara göre farkları araştırıldı. KTS'lu gebelerin %2~.3ünde elektrofizyolojik anormalite saptanırken, hu oran gebe olmayan KTS'lu kadınlar grubu için %9I.~~ olarak bulundu. ('ç grubun standart elektrofizyolojik inceleme sonuçlarının belirgin fark gösterdiği şafttandı. KTS tanısı ile elektrofizyolojik inceleme yapılan gebelerde, standart çalışmalarla anormalite saptanamadığı durumlarda, farklı elektrofizyolojik teknik ve parametrelerin kullanılması gerektiği düşünüldü. /Turgut ()zal Tıp.Merkezi Dergisi 1(4):2<J3-2V6,IV<J-I/
