Abstract (2. Language):
Natural and recombinant interferons are increasingly being used to treat patients with multiple sclerosis and various inflammatory, infectious, and neoplastic processes. Adverse reactions are usually limited to headache, fever, and myalgia, but occasional unexpected problems can be severe enough to limit use of the drug. One such problem is the exacerbation of psoriasis. In our clinic, two patients with multiple sclerosis who were receiving injections of interferon had a psoriasis attack. One of the patients had psoriasis before the interferon treatment but other patient had no such history.
