Patent Media n Artery and Bifid Median Nerve in Carpal Tunnel Syndrome: A Case Report

Journal Name:

Publication Year:

Abstract (2. Language):
Carpal tunnel syndrome is the most frequent entrapment neuropathy which is observed due to compression of the median nerve at the level of carpal tunnel. Most of the reported carpal tunnel syndrome disease is idiopathic; however pathologies like anatomic variations can be identified. We report the imaging findings of a case with carpal tunnel syndrome due to association of two infrequent anatomic variations: patent median artery and bifid median nerve.
