Abstract (2. Language):
It is well known that the most traditional method of swaddling the neonates is laying them onto the heated soil entitled as “höllük” in Anatolia for centuries. Some parts of Anatolia which have lower socioeconomic values still maintain this traditional method. We, herewith, would like to present 3 neonates who were swaddled via “höllük” and admitted to our hospital with different infectious diseases. Two of the neonates died because of tetanus infection and Eschericia coli septic shock.
