Abstract (2. Language):
Although most of ureteral injuries may occur due to iatrogenic reasons, about 75% of injuries result from gynecologic operations. Of these, about three fourths of ureteral injuries occur during an abdominal gynecologic procedure, and about one fourth occur during a vaginal intervention. Desp ite hysterectomy being the major cause of the ureteral injuries, almost any gynecologic operation can result in ureteral injury.

Histerektomiler en önde gelen sebep olmakla birlikte, herhangi bir jinekolojik operasyon sırasında üreter zedelenebilir.
