Today, success of the firms with high performance within their industry is not only depent on their own performance. Also, performances of other members in supply chain management influence success of the firm directly. Therefore, to be successfull and tocontinue their success, firms should give the neccessary importance to their supply chain, and should manage it effectively. Suppliers constitute an important ring of the supply chain. Suppliers must work adaptively with their customers according to direction of their customers’ goals. Suppliers should have high performance to provide to their customers have high performance. There are a lot of factors that affectsupplier performance. Therefore evaluation of supplier performance is a multi-criteria decision-making problem that requires a lot of evaluation criteria. In this paper, performance evalution problem of the suppliers was investigated at a firm that performs at automotive semiconductor industry in Kocaeli. Performances of three suppliers belonging to this firm were evaluated by means of fuzzy AHP

Günümüzde işletmelerin bulundukları sektörde yüksek performans göstermeleri sadece kendi performanslarına bağlı değildir. İşletmelere ait tedarik zincirinin diğer üyelerinin performansı da işletmelerin başarısını direkt olarak etkilemektedir. Bu nedenle, başarılı olabilmek ve başarılarını sürdürmekiçin, işletmeler tedarik zincirlerine gereken önemi vermelive tedarik zincirlerini etkin bir şekilde yönetmelidirler. Tedarikçiler de tedarik zincirinin önemli bir halkasını oluşturmaktadırlar. Tedarikçiler hizmet ettikleri işletmenin amaçları doğrultusunda işletmeyle uyumlu çalışmak zorundadırlar. İşletmenin yüksek performans gösterebilmesi için tedarikçilerin performansının da yüksek olması gerekir. Tedarikçi performansını etkileyen bir çok faktör vardır. Bundan dolayı tedarikçi performansının değerlendirilmesi çok sayıda değerlendirme kriteri gerektiren bir çok kriterli karar verme problemidir. Bu makalede Kocaeli’de otomotiv yan sanayiinde faaliyet gösteren bir firmada tedarikçilerin performansının değerlendirilmesi problemi incelenmiştir. Bu işletmenin üç tedarikçisinin performansı Bulanık AHP yöntemi kullanılarak değerlendirilmiştir
