Fricke flap in lovver eyelid reconstruction. Lower eyelids, besides the protective function for globe orbiculare, have also an aesthetic basis of structure. Therefore, repairing of deformities of the lower eyelids require to be ingenious. Tlıe deformities of the lower eyelids were partial-thickness at the 24 patients, and fııll - thickness at the 14 patients totally 38 patients. The partial-defects were repaired vvith skin grafts and the others vvith chondromucosal graftts and local flaps on them. We concluded that the harvested tisue should be \vider than the defect and at that point Fricke flap was considered to be the best apporach for maximal properness and the lest morbidity.

Alt göz kapaklan, fonksiyonel olarak göz küresini korumları yanında, estetik olarak da önemli yapılardır. Deformitelerinin onarımları titiz bir çalışmayı gerektirir. Alt göz kaplıklarının 24'ünde kısmi ve 14'iinde tam kat doku kaybı olan toplam 38 olgu tedavi edildi. Kısmi olanlar deri greftleri, diğerleri kondromukozal greft ve üzerine getirilen lokal fleplerle onarıldılar. Greftlemede, getirilen dokunun defekt alanından çok daha büyük olması gerektiği sonucuna varılırken, Fricke flebin en uygun ve en az morbidite bırakan yöntem olduğu gözlendi.
