The answers of residents and interns to the guestions related with oxygen therapy. Even though it is commonly used, oxygen is rarely considered as a drug by many medical doctors and its administration and monitoring does not receive the same attentİon given to other dnıgs. Considering that it is a life-saving drug, there is stili lack enough practice guidelines on proper use of oxygen in medical literatüre. The oxygen prescribing and monitoring behaviour of residents and interns of a university hospital has been evaluated by a questİonaİre.

Oksijen yaygın kullanımına karşın pek çok hekim tarafından bir drog olarak düşünülmediğinden diğer drogların kullanılması ve monitrizasyonuna gösterilen özen oksijene gösterilmemektedir. Hayat kurtarıcı bir drog olan oksijenin doğru uygulanması İle ilgili olarak tıp literatüründe de az sayıda uzlaşı raporu bulunmaktadır. Oksijen tedavisinin düzenlenmesi ve monitori-zasyonu İle ilgili olarak bir üniversite hastanesi tıpta uzmanlık öğrencileri ve intern doktorlarının yaklaşımları bir anket formunun aracılığı ile sorgulanarak değerlendirilmiştir.
