Abstract (2. Language):
Renal artery stenosis in a patient with essential thrombocytosis. Renovascular hypertension is the most frequent form of secondary hypertension. Though its frequency is 1 % in the general population, this ratio increases up to 30% in some special groups. It is possible to cure renovascular hypertension if it is treated promptly, so one must bear in mind this disease in diffe-rential diagnosis. If untreated, it can lead to renal insufficiency. Here we present a case of renal artery stenosis, in whom the etiology was identified and treated accordingly; so that reco-very was achieved.
Abstract (Original Language):
Renovasküler hastalık, ikincil hipertansiyonun en sık görülen nedenlerinden biridir. Sıklığı genel toplumda %1'in altındadır, çeşitli özeliklerine göre seçilmiş topluluklarda ise %30'a kadar çıkmaktadır. Renovasküler hipertansiyon erken saptandığında tam şifa sağlama olasılığı bulunduğundan, ayırıcı tanı düşünülürken akla getirilmelidir. Tedavisiz bırakıldığında ise böbrek yetersizliği gelişebilir. Burada, renal arter stenozu tespiti ve etyolojisiyle birlikte tedavi sonrası , şifa sağlanan bir olgu sunulmuştur.
