Abstract (2. Language):
Thromboembolic obstruction of the renal artery is a serious clinical problem, but rarely diagnosed. Diagnosis is not usually established until irreversible renal parenchymal damage occurs. Emboli to the major renal arteries are associated with cardiac diseases and arrhythmias, especially, atrial fibrillation. Here, we presented a case of renal artery thromboembolism in a patient who had atrial fibrillation and presented to the emergency department with left flank pain.
Abstract (Original Language):
Tromboembolik renal arter t›kan›kl›¤› nadiren tan›s› konulabilen ciddi bir klinik tablodur. Tan› ço¤unlukla geri dönüflümsüz renal lezyonlar (renal infarkt) görüldükten sonra konur. Major renal arter embolileri atriyal fibrilasyon baflta olmak üzere kalp hastal›klar› ve aritmilerle iliflkilidir. Yaz›m›zda atriyal fibrilasyonu olan ve sol bö¤ür a¤r›s› yak›nmas› ile acil klini¤e baflvurmufl bir renal arter embolisi olgusu sunmaktay›z.
