Abstract (2. Language):
Thromboembolic obstruction of the renal artery is a serious clinical problem, but rarely diagnosed.
Diagnosis is not usually established until irreversible renal parenchymal damage occurs. Emboli to the major
renal arteries are associated with cardiac diseases and arrhythmias, especially, atrial fibrillation. Here, we
presented a case of renal artery thromboembolism in a patient who had atrial fibrillation and presented to the
emergency department with left flank pain.
