In this article, the prothetic rehabilitation of a cleft Up and palate patient is explained. The orthodontist, the prosthodontist, the oral surgeon, the pedodontist all contribute in the responsibility of maintaining the dental health of the cleft lip and palate patient. Tfie purpose of prothetic treatment is to prevent the relapse of the maxillary segments and the teeth after surgical and orthodontic correction, as well as the rehabilitation of mastication, speech and aesthetics.

Bu makalede, dudak damak yangı olan bir hastanın protetik rehabilitasyonu anlatıldı. Yarık dudak damaklı hastanın diş sağlığını korumak, ortodontistin prostodontistin, oral cerrahın, pedodontistin sorumluluğu altındadır. Protetik tedavinin amacı ise, maxiller seğmentlerde ve dişlerde, ameliyat ve ortodontik tedaviden sonra nüksü önlemek, çiğneme, konuşma ve estetik rehabilitasyonu sağlamaktır.
