Abstract (2. Language):
The adherence of Streptoccus mutans to titanium surface-ses was studied in an in vitro model using ATCC#13419 strain of the bacteria incubated in %5 sucrose tryptic soy broth Mean values of CFU was 1.42xl07. Thus, adhesion of the S. mutans occured via sucrose to Ti without saliva. It was also shown that Tİ has no antibacterial effect on S. mutans species
Abstract (Original Language):
Streptococcus mutans'ın Ti yüzeydeki adhezyonu in vitro koşullarda ATCC 13419 numaralı S.mutans suşu ile %5 sakkarozlu triptik soy buyyonda incelendi. Deneyin sonunda yüzeylerde biriken bakteri plağının ortalama CFU değeri 1.42xl07 olarak saptandı. Böylece tükürüğün bulunmadığı ortamda S. mutansın Ti yüzeylerdeki adhezyonunun sakkarozla sağlanan özel bir etkileşim olduğu doğrulandı. Ayrıca, Ti metalinin S. mutans üzerine antibakteriyal etkisi olmadığı gösterildi.
