Abstract (2. Language):
Althought the diagnosis and treatment modalities of periodontal diseases have changed and improved the importance of mechanical treatment have never changed. This article summaries the diagnosis and treatment methods of periodontal diseases that have changed in time. The aim of today's periodontal therapy is not only to treat the periodontal disease but also to regenerate the periodontal attachment.
