U\e purpose of this, study was to evaluate the sealing ability of thehigh copper amalgam with varnish, silver glass iono-mer cement, reinforced zinc oxide eugenol and low tempera-tare injectable thermoplasticized gutta percha when used as retrograde filling, materials. The roots of fifty maxillary anterior teeth were instrumented and obturated using gutta percha and sealer. Following apical resections, retrograde cavities were prepared. Four test groups each has 10 teeth received one of the materials. After 48 hours in india ink, teeth were cleared and linear apical dye leakage was measured with a stereomicroscope. According to the results of this study, both high copper amal gam with varmish and silver glass ionomer cement demonstrated statistically (p<0.05) less leakage than reinforced zinc oxide eugenol and low temperature thermoplasticized guttapercha.

Bu çalışma, retrograd dolgu uygulamalarında kullanılan kavite vernikli amalgam, gümüş cam iyonomer simam, güçlendirilmiş çinko oksit öjenol simam ve düşük ısılı enjekte termoplastik güta perkanın apikal sız-dırmazlık özellik/erini incelemek amacıyla plan/andı. Kök kanalları genişletildi ve dolduruldu. Kök uçları reze ke edildi ve retrograd dolgular için kaviteler hazırlandı. Dişler her hiri 10 dişten oluşan dört gruba ayrıldı. Ayrıca beş diş negatif kontrol, beş diş ise pozitif kontrol için ayrıldı. Grup l'de kavite vernikti;yüksek balar oranlı amalgam, Grup 2'de gümüş cam iyonomer simanı, Grup 3'de düşük ısılı enjekte termoplastik güta perka ve Grup 4'de güçlendirilmiş çinko oksit öjenol simanı kavitelere yerleştirildi. Dişler 48 saat boyunca çini mürekkebinde bekletildi, demineralize edildi, şeffaflaştırıldı ve boya sızıntısı linear olarak stereo mikroskop kullanılarak değerlendirildi. Bu çalışmadan elde edilen bulgular, kavite vernikli yüksek bakır oranlı amalgam ve gümüş cam iyonomer simanı kullanılan dişlerde, güçlendirilmiş çinko oksit öjenol simam ve düşük ısılı enjekte termoplastik güta perka kullanılan dişlere oranla istatistiki olarak anlamlı derecede (p<0.05) daha az apikal boya sızıntısı oluşA tuğunu gösterdi.
