Abstract (2. Language):
Following traumatic injuries of the teeth and the periradicular tissues, normal function may be regained and healing may occur , if the displaced tooth is stabilized by splint application. Splinting is one of the crucial factors in the treatment of traumatized teeth and periodontal tissues. In this review, various splint types and splinting techniques arc explained. Moreover, splinting periods used in different traumatic injuries and the effect of this procedure on tissues arc discussed.
