Abstract (2. Language):
Broadly speaking, modernity is the product of the Enlightenment and has its roots in Plato's Theory of Idea and Descartes 'cogitos'. Postmodernism criticised the modern way of thinking. Postmodernism criticises the modern apprach which views history as progressive thought and relies on the role of 'reason' to formulate fundamental principles upon which political decisions can be legitimated. It began to question the modern approach to arcitecture and this approach extended to other movements related to the modern such as the arts and later philosophy and also cinema. In this article, we will examine the Hızlı Koşucu of Ridley Scott which has traces of postmodernism.
