İn rfcfflf ymrs. M w number of the kids who live and work <m streets has been increasing rapidly. These kids arc trying to earn money on sheds and many of them can't go to school. The kids who begs money on streets aim to earn money for themselves and their family and sometimes they are forced to go begging by their families, It is reported by security services that sometimes families real their kids to şomedı/ else who gel them beg on streets. Having an illegitamate child or an unwanted pregnancy are some reasons of leaving the baby on streets. Slreets sometimes become an attractive place for kids because of having a chance to earn money and its freedom. Many of them is confronted bad treatment On streets like sexual harassment and violence. Apart from them, many of the kids get many ilnesses because of nutritional defteiancy and become a drug addict. The reasons of having drug are to keep warm their body, not to feel hungry, to forget the past, to dream, to feel comfortable and more strong. Lately, dogs are allowed to become addicted to drug by kids and after that they use them to atlact to people. Unfortunately, social politics which aim to remove social uneauality haven't developed. Also, there are no emergency operation plans to save the kids which take risk on streets. The population of our country is presumably 66.8 millions in 2000 and " -4 i of them between 0-18 years old. It can be said that Turkey is a country of kids, Young density of population has its disadvantages as much as its advantages. In order to have welt-qualified population in country, a happy childhood should he given those kids. Solvation of this problem is to face it as soon as possible. States social services include elderly people, disabled people, women and kids. Consequently, social services has a nonfunctional structure. It can be said that unless the kid department should be Separated from the Other services, there will be no solvation for the problem. The situation getting more dangerous and in order to prevent kids joining Street bands like Bresilia sample urgent measures should be taken. Govermental facilities and private sector sliould work together to soht this problem and getting profit from the situation should blocked.
