Abstract (2. Language):
Carmen Marin Gaite's Entre Visillos is a novel which discusses the social position of woman in the post-Spanish Civil War era. The novel reflects the silent cry and the inner world of woman who is subject to heavy social and traditional oppressions. The aim of this study is to show how the work, within the framework of a fictional narrative and through a woman's point of view, presents woman within her temporal and spatial environment, how it reconstructs the social position of women as realistically as possible, and how all these are conveyed to the reader.

Carmen Marin Gaite'nin Entre Visillos adlı romanı, İspanya İç Savaşı sonrası dönemde kadının toplumsal duruşunu ve konumunu irdeleyen bir yapıttır. Roman, toplumun ve geleneklerin ezici baskısına maruz kalan kadının sessiz haykırışını ve içsel dünyasını yansıtır. Bu çalışmanın amacı, yapıtta, kurgusal bir anlatıya dayanılarak ve kadın gözüyle, kadının uzam ve zaman akışı içerisinde nasıl sunulduğunu, kadınların sosyal konumunun olabildiğince gerçekçi bir bakış açısıyla nasıl oluşturulduğunu, ve tüm bunların okura nasıl yansıtıldığını göstermektir.
