AVRUPA EKONOMİK TOPLULUĞU, VE KALKINMAKTA OLAN ÜLKELER

II. Dünya Savaşını izleyen dönemlerin en ilginç gelişmelerinden biri de uluslararasında^ ekonomik birleşme edimleridir, Günümıüzde bu tür altı örgüt bulunmakla beraber, hiç biri tam oiarak diğerine benzememektedir. Belki de aralarındaki tek müşterek nokta, ıhemen hepsinin il. Dünya Savaşından sonra, özellikle 1960 lar döneminde başlatılmış olmasıdır. 1960 da kurulan Avrupa Serbest Ticaret Bölgesi (EFTA) ile Lâtin Amerika Serbest Ticaret Birliği (LAFTA) gibi bazı kuruluşlar en yenileri gibi görülebilir. Bıuma mukabil diğer bîr kısım kuruluşlar çok daha eskiye dayanır, bunun en belirgin örneğini kuruluş tarihini 1917' tere kadar götürebileceğimiz Doğu Afrika Müşterek Pazarı (EASM) oluşturur(l). Avrupa Ekonomik Topluluğu (AET)* ise 25 Mart 1957 de İmzalanan Roma Antlaşması kurulmuştur.
