It wasn't known that Ebu'l-Kâsım Muhammed b. Saîd el-Mueddib
had a work on grammer to the new century. Ebu'1-Abbâs el-Mueddib who lived at
the 4th/10th century, wrote a book tittle: 'Dekâiku't-tasrîf on Arabic grammer.
That book is presented by Prof. Dr. Fuad Sezgin in his book Geschichte Des
Arabischen Schrifttumms (GAS, IX, 160, 1984), and now this book is published
in 1987 by Ahmed Naci el-Kaysî, Hatim Saîd ed-Damîn and Hüseyin Tural. Here
we have given a detailed descriptions from the book , and we have shown the
sources that el-Mueddib has utilized in his book.

Ebu'l-Kâsım Muhammed b. Saîd el-Mueddibin kaleme aldığı sarfa dair ilk
eserlerden sayılan 'Dekâiku-t-tasrîf adlı eseri günümüz araştırmacılarına
tanıtılması gerektiğini düşünmekteyiz. Zira onun eseri günümüzde kullanılmayan
orijinal ifadeler içermektedir. Bu vesile ile sarfa dair eserlerin nasıl tekamül ettiği
ve de ifade farklılıklarını tanıma imkanı bulunmaktadır.
