Abstract (2. Language):
In this study, it was aimed to determine the effects of physicochemical and heavy metal parameters on the properties of mucosubstance in gills of Sander fish (Sander lucioperca) living in Kovada Lake. It was determined that neutral, sulfated acidic, carboxylated, sulphated, sulphated acidic and sialylated acidic glycoconjugates were showed medium reaction in mucus cells in all regions of the gills. O-sulphated ester glycoconjugate the absence of mucus cells in gills were determined. Acidic glycoconjugates containing mucous cells in gills were found to be higher than other glycoconjugates.
