Abstract (2. Language):
This paper focuses on 'mind' in Garipnâme. Contrary to the common perception, Classical Turkish literature gave importance to 'mind' and 'thinking' as a result of islamic perception. Since, religous belief wants a believer think precisely in order to achieve his duties as a 'man' before god. Also this paper, exemplifies 'mind' by cited passages from Garipnâme, work of Âşık Paşa.
