Abstract (2. Language):
Antibiotics have important role in animal production as a growth and health promoter. Due to the negative effect of these antibiotics to the human immune system, the use of antibiotic growth promoters has been banned by the European Union. This restriction has made negative impact on the poultry production which aims to have more and rapid weight gain. Because of this reason, researchers are trying to find alternatives to the antibiotics which can be natural and safe for the human health. In this paper, the investigations, studied in Turkey and the other countries, about the use of essential oils and their effects in broiler nutrition were evaluated
