Abstract (2. Language):
A 5 year old Montofon cow, pregnant to its second calf was brought from the Research and Practise Farm of
Veterinary Faculty of Istanbul University to the clinics of Veterinary Faculty and preliminary diagnosis was made as
mummification. During the cesarean operation 5-6 months old mummified twin fetuses were found. Operation was
ended by making the appropriate applications and postoperative care and therapy was applied. Regular health checks
of the cows during periods of pregnancy were found to be important

İstanbul Üniversitesi Veteriner Fakültesi Araştırma ve Uygulama Çiftliğinden Veteriner Fakültesi Kliniklerine getirilen 5 yaşlı, ikinci yavrusuna gebe, montofon ırkı bir inekte mumifikasyon ön tanısı kondu. Yapılan sezaryen operasyonu sonucunda 5-6 aylık ikiz yavruda mumifikasyon olgusu belirlendi. Operasyon gerekli uygulamalar yapılarak sonlandırıldı ve postoperatif bakım ve tedavi uygulandı. Gebelik dönemleri boyunca ineklerin sağlık kontrollerinin düzenli yapılması önemli bulunmuştur.
