Son zamanlarda» mineral yataklarının bazı türlerinin yayılım ve kökeni, levha tektonoği varsayımlarının terimleri içinde açıklamaktadır. Levha sınırlarının gelişmesi ile bu yataklar arasındaki ilgi araştırılmıştır. Hem cevher kütlesi ve hem de cevheri içeren ana kayacm kökenlerinin açıklanmasında, varsayımların yararh olacağı görülmüştün Jeolojik zaman içindeki mmeraüepne değişimleri kısmen, tektonik ve magmatik işieylerdeki değişimlere bağlıdır. Ancak 3000 m,y,hk geçmişte mlneralleşmenin birçok tiplerinde küçük akrabalık değişiklikleri olduğuna ait ban bulgular vardır, Levha tektoniği görüşlerinin gelişmesi, olası yeni, minerallepne sahalarına ait bir sıra genel örneklerin sağlanması konusundaki araştırmalarda smırh olmaktadır. Ancak cevher kütlesindeki özel tiplerin Önceden daha kesin olarak bulunmasında bu varsayımların ayrıntılı incelenmesi, büyük değerlere sahip olanaklar getirecektir.
