This study was carried out to determine the effect of nitrogen and phosphorus fertilizers on the nutrient contents in fruit and leaf in the harvest beginning and ending of pepper. In the study, nitrogen fertilizers were applied at the doses of 0, 8, 16, 24 kg N/da in the form of ammonium sulfate, and phosphorus fertilizers were applied at the doses of 0, 12, 24 kg P2O5/da in the form of triple super phosphate. Nitrogen fertilizers significantly affected, N, Ca, Fe and Mn contents of fruit, and N, K and Zn contents of leaf at the beginning of harvest, and N, P, Zn and Cu contents of leaf at the end of harvest. Phosphorus fertilizers significantly affected, P content of fruit, and P, Mg contents of leaf at the beginning of harvest, and N, P contents of leaf at the end of harvest. It was found that plant nitrogen nutrient was sufficient with applied nitrogen fertilizers at the beginning of the harvest, but insufficient at the end of harvest.

Bu araştırma, azotlu ve fosforlu gübrelemenin biber bitkisinin, hasat başı ve sonunda meyve ve yaprak besin elementlerine etkilerini belirlemek amacı ile yürütülmüştür. Çalışmada, azotlu gübre amonyum sülfat formunda ve 0, 8, 16, 24 kg N/da dozlarında, fosforlu gübre triple süper fosfat formunda ve 0, 12, 24 kg P2O5 /da dozlarında uygulanmıştır. Azotlu gübreleme, biber meyvesi örneklerinin N, Ca, Fe ve Mn içeriklerini, hasat başında alınan yaprak örneklerinin N, K ve Zn içeriklerini, hasat sonunda alınan yaprak örneklerinin N, P, Zn ve Cu içeriklerini önemli olarak etkilemiştir. Fosforlu gübreleme, biber meyvesinin P içeriğini, hasat başında alınan yaprak örneklerinin P ve Mg içeriklerini, hasat sonunda alınan yaprak örneklerinin N ve P içeriklerini önemli olarak etkilemiştir. Azotlu gübreleme ile hasat başında bitkilerin azot beslenmesinin yeterli düzeyde olduğu, fakat hasat sonunda bitkilerin azot beslenmesinin yetersiz olduğu bulunmuştur.
