Abstract (2. Language):
One of the areas in which religions are expressing themselves are mystical interpretations
that have deeper, more internal meanings. There are those who say that Christianity is a mystical religion from the outset, and there are also those who think that it has earned this
mean from different traditions. In the modern era, mysticism is thought of as a medicine
that will turn Christians back to their roots and solve the tension that people are in. In this
respect, Jesus has regarded not only as a peripatetic preacher, a charismatic healer, an eschatological
prophet, but a mystical leader and now. The Christian mystics emphasized the
mystical dimension of Jesus and Paul by bringing references from the Bible. They have advised
to believers to turn away from life of world, to be single and and to contemplate with
heart filled by Holy Spirit, just like Jesus. This article examines the mystical thoughts of
Jesus and Paul, who are two important figures for Christianity.Thus it offers a brief assessment
of the origins of mystical Christianity that have became popular in modern period.

Dinlerin, kendilerini ifade ettikleri alanlardan biri daha deruni, daha içsel anlamlara sahip
olan mistik yorumlardır. Hıristiyanlığın ortaya çıktığı andan itibaren mistik bir din olduğunu
söyleyenler olduğu gibi, bu anlamı farklı geleneklerden kazandığını düşünenler de
vardır. Modern dönemde mistisizm Hıristiyanları yeniden köklerine döndürecek ve insanların
içinde bulunduğu buhranı çözecek bir ilaç olarak da düşünülmektedir. Bu açıdan İsa
sadece gezginci bir vaiz, karizmatik bir şifacı, eskatolojik bir peygamber değil, mistik bir
önder olarak kabul edilmiştir. Hıristiyan mistikler, Kutsal Kitap’tan referanslar getirerek
İsa ve Pavlus’un mistik boyutunu vurgulamışlardır. Onlar inananlara tıpkı İsa gibi dünya
hayatına yüz çevirmeyi, bekarlığı ve Kutsal Ruh’un doldurduğu bir kalp ile tefekkür etmeyi
tavsiye etmişlerdir. Bu makale, Hıristiyanlık için iki önemli figür olan İsa ve Pavlus’un
mistik düşünceleri incelemekte ve modern dönemde popüler olan mistik Hıristiyanlığın
kökenlerine dair kısa bir değerlendirme sunmaktadır. (çev.)
