Abstract (2. Language): 
Today, the Republic of Azerbaijan is an independent state. They make exchange of experience with the citizens of foreign countries, and establish friendly and fraternal relationships. Foreigners need to learn the azerbaijan language and communicate directly. The foreigners should learn the azerbaijani language not a theoretical point of view, but from a practical point. They have a less time to learn the language as a living spoken language. The article deals with the enrichment of vocabulary fund, the foundation of practical speaking skills, the development of coherent speech of foreign students like, replying to questions, translation, to bend deformations over the texts, also to develop students’ listening comprehension, speaking and reading skills, the organization of reading classes, telling of texts and the importance of reading classes to students.

İngilisdillilərə Azərbaycan dillini öyrətmək üçün oxu dərsləri mühüm vasitədir.Onlar oxu dərslərində ən çox Azərbaycan ədəbiyyatı nümunələri, Azərbaycan tarixinə, Azərbaycan mədəniyyətinə aid mətn və hekayələr, ailə və məişət, siyasət və s. ilə tanış olurlar.Bu cür dərs-lərdə tələbələrin nitqi inkişaf edir, lüğət ehtiyatı zənginləşir. Ona görə də oxu dərsləri səmərəli təşkil edilməli və şifahi nitqdən sonra aparıl-malıdır.
