A consensus has not been reached on export performance although it is one of the most researched topics in the international marketing literature. Findings cannot be instructive for developing countries not only due to lack of agreement on conceptualization and operationalization but also vast majority of the researches done in western developed countries. In this study, determinants of export performance selected from literature is analyzed in Turkish Small and Medium Sized Enterprises (SMEs) context as a developing country. Determinants of export performance and their reliability, validity, and degree of effect have been found. Exploratory factor and reliability analyses have been employed by SPSS. Starting from the most effective one, determinants of export performance of SMEs have been reported.

İhracat performansı uluslararası pazarlama literatüründe en fazla araştırılan konulardan biri olmasına rağmen, kavramsallaştırılmasında ve işlevselleştirilmesinde fikir birliğinin sağlanamaması ve çalışmaların büyük çoğunluğunun gelişmiş batılı ülke kökenli olması sebebiyle gelişmekte olan ülkelere yol göstermekte yetersiz kalmaktadır. Çalışma sonucu literatürden seçilmiş ihracat performansını etkileyen faktörlerin gelişmekte olan ülkeler için Türkiye KOBİ’leri örneğinde incelenmiş, SPSS programı kullanılarak açıklayıcı faktör ve güvenilirlik analizleri ile bu belirleyiciler ve belirleyicilerin etki dereceleri araştırılmıştır. Sırasıyla en etkili faktörden başlayarak, KOBİ’lerin ihracat performansını etkileyen faktörler raporlanmıştır.
