Abstract (2. Language):
Mucopolysaccharidosis, is a clinical entity that is transmitted in autosomal recessive trait. İn Hurler's syndrome the main pathology is the accumulation of mucopolysaccharides due to the insufficiency of L-iduronidase enzyme (1). İn this group of patients structural and functional disturbances may cause some difficulties particularly in maintaining the sufficient airflovv inside the main respiratory airvvays (2). Here we report the anesthetic approach, peroperatif and postoperative findings of an 26 years old female patient vvith type II mucopolysaccharidosis; who was admitted to emergency department vvith multitrauma due to ©cternal traffic accident.
Abstract (Original Language):
Mukopolisakkaridoz, nadir görülen otozomal resesif bir klinik tablo olup, Hürler sendromundaki temel bozukluk L-iduronidaz enzimindeki yetmezlik sonucu tüm vücut sistemlerinde asit mukopolisakkaritlerin birikmesidir (1). Bu grup hastalarda gelişen yapısal ve fonksiyonel bozukluklar, özellikle genel anestezi uygulaması sırasında güvenli havayolu sağlanmasında güçlüklere yol açabilmektedir (2). Araç dışı trafik kazası nedeniyle operasyonu planlanan 26 yaşında kadın hastaya olan anestezik yaklaşımımız, peroperatif bulgular ve postoperatif yoğunbakım tecrübemiz rapor edilmiştir.
