Abstract (2. Language): 
The aim of this study was to determine pre-service physical education teachers’ and the other pre-service teachers’ efficacy perceptions and their attitudes toward teaching profession and to display, in a comparative way, whether these perceptions and attitudes acquire a different character according to the independent variables obtained through personal information of students. 411 pre-service teachers from different departments at 4th grade took part in the study, 48 of whom are from Physical Education and Sports Department. ‘Efficacy Perception Scale of Pre-Service Teacher’ and ‘Attitude Scale Related to Teaching Profession’ were used to collect data as the instruments in the study. The findings of the study showed that there were not significant differences between pre-service teachers’ both efficacy perceptions and attitudes toward teaching profession and their departments (p>0.05). There were significant differences between pre-service physical education teachers’ efficacy perceptions and their academic success level (p<0.05), and between other pre-service teachers’ attitudes toward teaching profession and their gender (p<0.05). Also, positive correlation at moderate level was observed between both pre-service physical education teachers’ and the other pre-service teachers’ efficacy perceptions and their attitudes toward teaching profession (p<0.01).

Bu araştırmanın amacı; beden eğitimi ile diğer alanlardaki öğretmen adaylarının öğretmenlik mesleğine ilişkin yeterlik algıları ve tutumlarını belirlemek, bu algılar ve tutumların; öğrencilerin kişisel bilgilerinden elde edilen bağımsız değişkenlere göre farklılaşıp farklılaşmadığını karşılaştırarak ortaya koymaktır. Çalışmaya, 48’i beden eğitimi ve spor öğretmenliği bölümünde olmak üzere farklı bölümlerde öğrenim gören 411 4.sınıf öğrencisi katılmıştır. Araştırmada veri toplama aracı olarak; ‘Aday Öğretmenin Kendine İlişkin Yeterlik Algısı Ölçeği (Çakır ve diğ., 2000)’ ve ‘Öğretmenliğe İlişkin Tutum Ölçeği (Erkuş ve diğ., 2000)’ kullanılmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda öğretmen adaylarının yeterlik algıları ve öğretmenlik mesleğine yönelik tutumlarının bölüm değişkenine göre değişmediği (p>0.05); beden eğitimi öğretmeni adaylarının yeterlik algılarının akademik başarı durumu değişkenine göre (p<0.05); diğer öğretmen adaylarının da öğretmenlik mesleğine yönelik tutumlarının cinsiyet değişkenine göre (p<0.05) farklılaştığı; ayrıca hem beden eğitimi hem de diğer öğretmen adaylarının yeterlik algıları ile öğretmenlik mesleğine yönelik tutumları arasında pozitif yönde ve orta düzeyde bir korelasyon olduğu görülmüştür (p<0.01).
