Abstract (2. Language):
Methods created to be used for instrument education are intended to provide and improve skill-based
(psycho-motor) behaviors of students. Since they involve a systematic structure, these methods are
often used in violin education as a branch of musical instrument education. Entry-level first fascicle of M.
Crickboom Method which is one of these methods is the subject of this research. In this research, violin
playing techniques in the fascicle are examined, and analyzed the subjects; contents of the method in
terms of learning, to which degree it includes the researches about right and left hand techniques required
to play violin, and what are technical and musical specifications of exercises, etudes and songs used in this
method.

Çalgı eğitiminde kullanılmak üzere oluşturulan metotlar, öğrencilerin becerişsel (psikomotor) alan
davranışlarını kazandırmaya ve geliştirmeye yöneliktir. Sistematik olması sebebiyle metotlar, çalgı eğitiminin
bir dalı olan keman eğitiminde de sıklıkla kullanılmaktadır. Bu metotlardan M. Crickboom Metodu’nun
başlangıç düzeyindeki birinci fasikülü araştırmanın konusunu oluşturmaktadır. Bu çalışmada, fasikülde yer
alan keman çalma teknikleri incelenerek; metodun öğretim açısından içeriği, keman çalmak için gerekli
olan sağ ve sol el tekniklerine ilişkin çalışmaları ne ölçüde kapsadığı; alıştırmaların, etütlerin ve parçaların
teknik ve müziksel özelliklerinin neler olduğu araştırılmıştır.
