Leadership is very essential in every organization because the success or failure of an organization depends on the quality of leadership of top management. It can be said that manager can manage the business activities without having leadership qualities, but if he has leadership-qualities, he manages his business more efficiently. It is true that ineffective leadership may lead to failure of business. This is because leadership-qualities are very essential for manager to direct the activities of subordinates in right direction. Therefore, managers at each level of management are leaders and they must have leadership-qualities to direct the activities of their subordinates.
