ASKERÎ OKUL ÖĞRENCİLERİNİN MESLEK TERCİHİ VE ALGISI: GATA SAĞLIK ASTSUBAY OKULLARI ÖRNEĞİ

This study aims to analyze the vocational preferences and perceptions of non-commissioned medical officer candidates. In this respect, the psychological and social factors that determine the vocational preferences and perceptions of the students in the School of Medical Officers at Gulhane Military Medical Academy will be explored. The main discussion topics of the study include inquiries, such as “What are the effects of psychological and social factors that play a role in vocational preference and perception during education period?”, “How is vocational preference and perception constructed?” and “How is vocational preference and perception expressed in different education periods?”. The 1st, 2nd and 3rd grade students in the School of Medical Officers at Gulhane Military Medical Academy and the 1st and 2nd grade students in the Vocational High School for Medical Officers constitute the sampling of this study. Within the scope of the research, questionnaire technique has been used for determining the socio-cultural characteristics, and attribute constellation technique has been consulted in determining vocational perception.
