1999-2000 yıllarında Selçuk Üniversitesi Tıp Fakültesi Hastanesinde izole edilen Salmonella ve Shigella türlerinin çeşitli antimikrobîklere duyarlılıkları

in this study the in vitro activities of twelve antimicrobial agents against 50 Salmonella and 25 Shigella strains isolated in the years 1999 and 2000 at the Microbiology Laboratory of the University of Selçuk Faculty of Medicine were investigated by E test method. Of the 50 Salmonella strains 30 were identified as S. thyphimurium and 20 as S.enteritidis. İn this study for Salmonella isolates resistance to ampiciliin was most common (90%), follovved by tetracycline (64%), chloramphenicol (48%), trimethoprim/sulfamethoxazole (16%), cefuroxime (16%), cefodizime, ceftrİaxone, ceftazidime and cefepime (6%). AH isolates were susceptible to meropenem, imipenem and ciprofloxacin. For 25 shigella isolates of our study the resistance were 88% for ampiciliin, 76% for tetracycline, 64% for trimethoprim/suiphamethoxazole, 28% for chloramphenicol, 12% for cefuroxime and 4% for ciprofioxacin. AH Shigella İsolates were sensitive against meropenem, imipenem, cefodizime, ceftriaxone, ceftazidime and cefepime.

Bu çalışmada 1999-2000 yıllarında Selçuk Üniversitesi Tıp Fakültesi Hastanesi Merkez Mikrobiyoloji Laboratuvan'nda izole edilen 50 Salmonella, 25 Shigella suşunun 12 antimikrobiğe gösterdikleri direnç E test yöntemi ile araştırıldı. İzole edilen 50 Salmonella suşunun serotiplendirmesinde 30'unun (%60) S.thyphimurium, 20'sinin (%40) S.enteritidis olduğu saptandı. İzole edilen 25 Shigella suşunun tamamının S.sonnei olduğu belirlendi. Salmonella suşlarında en yüksek direnç ampisilin'e (%90) karşı gözlendi, bunu tetrasiklin (%64), kloramfenikol (%48), trimetoprim/sulfametoksazol (%16), sefuroksim (%16), sefodizim, seftriakson, seftazidim, sefepim (%6) direnci İzledi. Tüm Salmonella suşları meropenem, imipemen ve siprofloksasine duyarlı bulundu. 25 Shigella suşu ampisiline %88, tetrasikline %76, trimetoprim-sulfametoksazole %64, kloramfenikole %28, sefuroksime %12, siprofloksasine %4 dirençli bulundu. Tüm Shigella izolatlarının meropenem, imipenem, sefodizim, seftriakson, seftazidim ve sefepime duyarlı olduğu saptandı.
