Spinal epidural abscess is a very rare and dangerous lesion. We preseni here spondylodiscitis case developed following iatrogenic spinal epidural abscess. The patient was operated on by surgical drainage and appropriate antibiotic therapy. Improvement was seen postoperatively. İn this article, the clinicat outcome, radiological findings, and management prothocoles of spinal epidural abscess and spondylodiscitis are discussed with revievv of the literatüre.

Spinal epidural apse seyrek görülen ve tehlikeli bir lezyondur. Biz bu yazıda bir iatrojenik spinal epidural apse sonrası gelişen spondilodiskitis olgusu sunuyoruz. Hasta cerrahi drenaj ile öpere edildi ve uygun antibiyotik tedavisine alındı. Operasyon sonrası düzelme görüldü. Bu makalede spinal epidural apse ve spondilodiskitisin, klinik gidişi, radyolojik incelemeleri ve tedavi ilkeleri literatür gözden geçirilerek tartışılmıştır.
