The aim of the study was carried out to investigate the diagnostic value of the AgNOR to distinguishing between preneoplastic and neoplastic lesions of the endometrium. Retrospective analysis included tissue material obtalned from 50 patients with simple and complex hyperplasia with and without atypia and wsü differantiated endometrial adenocarcinoma. Sections were stained with AgNOR technigue. The results obtalned indicate that AgNOR counts have statistical significant in differantiating between well differantiated endometrial adenocarcinoma and, simple hyperplasia and complex hyperplasia with and without atypia.

Endometriumun preneoplastik ve neoplastik lezyonlarının ayırıcı tanısında AgNOR sayılarının önemini araştırmak amacıyla, basit endometrial hiperplazi (n=10), atipili basit endometria! hiperplazi (n=W), atipisiz kompleks hiper-plazi (n-10), atipili kompleks hiperplazi (n-10) ve iyi diferansiye endometrial adenokarsinom tanısı almış toplam 50 olgu AgNOR yöntemiyle boyandı. İyi diferansiye endometrial adenokarsinom ile karşılaştırıldığında atipili ve atipisiz basit hiperplazi ve kompleks hiperplazide görülen ortalama AgNOR sayılan arasında farklılık istatiksel olarak anlamlı bulundu (p<0.001).
