Surgical correction of an aesthetic deficit causing, a psychological problem, is routinely peıiormed. On the other hand, if a complaint that can not be regarded as an aesthetic deficit, causes psychological, or even pathological changes, it is unfamiliar. İn this report we preseni a patient who has tied her hair tightly İn order to lift her eyebrows and has caused tractional alopecia.

Kişide ruhsal rahatsızlık yaratan estetik bir kusurun, operasyon ile düzeltilmesi alışılagelmiş bir durumdur. Ancak, estetik kusur sayılamayacak bir durum kişinin psikolojik durumunu bozuyor ve hatta kişide patolojik değişikliklere sebep oluyor ise dikkat çekicidir. Biz kliniğimize gelen bir hastada benzer bir durumla karşılaştık. Biz bu yazımızda kaşlarını kaldırmak istediği için saçlarını çok gergin bağlayan ve bu sebeple traksiyonel alopesi gelişen hastamızı sunmak istedik.
