Abstract (2. Language):
Familial mediterranean fever (FMF) is an autosomal recessively-transmitted disease characterised by attacks of fever and serositis. Articular involvement is the second most common manifestation following abdominal pain. Articular involvement is commonly in the large joints of the lower extremities but may occur in other joints such as the ankle, shoulder, temporomandibular joint, or sternoclavicular joint. Here, we report a 25-year-old man of FMF with accompanying costochondritis. In conclusion, arthritis of FMF is clinically presented in various forms such as costochondritis.
