Ahmed-i Bardahî
i
s from "Sunisa". He is believed to have lived between the late 15th century and early 16th century. It is stated in the introduction and at the end of his only existing work "Cami'u'l-Faris", a kind of book that contains a lexicon and information on literature, that he made a fair copy of the book in question a second time, which he said he had dedicated to Mehmed Pasha and Mahmoud Beg, in 905/1499. In this paper, we present the text of that part of Cami'u'l-Faris" which deals with aruz.

Ahmed-i Bardahî "Sunisa"lıdır. 15. asrın ikinci yarısıyla 16. asrın ilk çeyreğinde yaşamış olduğu tahmin edilmektedir. Elde mevcut tek eseri "Câmİ'u'l-Fâris"in "mukaddime" ve "ferağ kaydfnda, Mehmet Paşa ve Mahmut Bey'e ithaf ettiğini söylediği söz konusu eserini 905/1499'da ikinci defa temize çektiği bilgisi yer almaktadır. Biz bu makalemizde sözlük ve edebiyat bilgisi niteliği taşıyan "Câmi'u'l-Fâris"in aruzla ilgili kısmın metnini sunuyoruz.
