Abstract (2. Language):
Ottoman Intellectuals were generally interested in poetry no matter what
their professions were. Some of them proceeded to produce poetry and prepare
their own “Dîvâns” or “Dîvânçe” (anthology of poems), while the poems of the
poets who did not have enough poems to compile a divan were either lost or
remained scattered here and there. “Beyânî-zâde Ayânî”, too, was one of our
poets who could not constitute a “Dîvân” or “Dîvânçe”. Here, as a result of our
investigations, we have found poems by Ayânî, who we presume to be the son of
Beyânî Effendi, author of a collection of biographies, in a journal including 262
couplets composed of 47 odes, 2 stanzas and 5 couplets (müfred) and we present
them to the attention of researchers. We think that Beyânî-zâde Ayânî, who is
understood to have an elevated sense of poetry, might have other peoms, too.

Abstract (Original Language):
sonunda tezkire sahibi Beyânî Efendi’nin oglu oldugunu tahmin ettigimiz
Ayânî’nin bir mecmuada gördügümüz 47 gazel, 2 kıt‘a ve 5 müfretten olusan 262
beyit tutarındaki siirlerini arastırmacıların bilgisine sunuyoruz. Belli bir siir zevkine
sahip oldugu anlasılan Beyânî-zâde Ayânî’nin baska siirleri de olabilecegini
tahmin ediyoruz.
