Common cold is one of the most frequently observed infections in childhood. Pseudoephedrine hydrochloride (PEH) is a sympathomimetic drug which is widely used for treatment of colds in children. This case report is trying to get attention to potentional side effects of PEH as ventricular arrythmia in the treatment of colds.

Soğuk algınlığı, çocukluk çağının sık görülen hastalıklarından biridir. Psödoefedrin hidroklorür (PEH) yaygın olarak çocuklarda soğuk algınlığının tedavisinde kullanılan sempatomimetik bir ilaçtır. Bu olgu sunumunda, PEH kullanan bir çocuk hastada gelişen ventriküler aritmi tanımlanmış olup, PEH tedavisinin olası yan etkilerine dikkat çekmek amaçlanmıştır.
