Abstract (2. Language):
This study tries to explore the relationship between export and GNP using cointegration in Turkey during 1955-2002 period. In order to determine the causality between export and GNP, the Error Correction Method and causality tests are employed. We found that there is a one¬way causality exists from GNP to export. These findings indicate that in order to have sustainable growth, country should encourage the policies which are increase export.
