HAYAL GÜCÜNE GÜÇ KATAN TOPLUMSAL ARKA PLAN: 1960'LARIN ÜTOPYA ESKİZLERİ İÇİN ALTLIK ÇALIŞMASI

Since Plato, many ideas have been suggested regarding how the ideal society should be. Many of these ideas are based on the concept that, to reach the ideal society; places should be designed where ideal society will live and different ideal society models are consecutively designed assisted by this concept. In the World history, the most recent of the periods when these models that might be named as "utopia sketches" are produced intensely and caused intense discussion milieu is the period, which we name as 1960s. Many imaginary projects have been consecutively designed in this active period which coincides to the development of possibilities related to intense industrialization after the Second World War, expectations created by scientific and technical development, difficulties started to be experienced after fast development of the cities. This study is an alternative reading of the social structure with the interpretations about the metamorphosis and the transformations of the 1960s, that pave the way for the utopist atmosphere.
