Anterior crown fractures are a common form of injury that mainly affects children. When the restorative alternatives are evaluated, loss of tooth structure, the eruptive condition of the fractured tooth, function and patient demands should be considered. Nowadays, with the development of adhesive system and composite resin the restoration of crown fractures is applied easily in terms of aesthetic and function. In this case report, alternative treatments and postoperative prognosis of the patient 8 years-old, seeking treatment for crown fractures at our faculty, is reported.

Ön bölge kuron kırıkları genellikle çocukları etkileyen bir yaralanma şeklidir. Böyle hastalarda tedavi seçenekleri değerlendirilirken, diş sert dokularında meydana gelen madde kaybı, dişin sürme durumu, estetik, fonksiyon ve hastanın beklentisi göz önünde bulundurulmalıdır. Günümüzde adeziv sistem ve kompozit rezinlerin gelişmesiyle estetik ve fonksiyon açısından yapılan restorasyonlar daha kolay uygulanabilmektedir. Bu olgu raporunda, travmaya bağlı oluşan kron kırığı nedeni ile kliniğimize başvuran 8 yaşındaki bir hastaya uygulanan tedavi yaklaşımı ve prognozu bildirilmektedir.
