TÜRKİYE'NİN YALVAÇ ANTIOCHEIA PISIDIA ANTİK KENTİNDEKİ DOĞAL FON RADYASYONU ÖLÇÜMLERİ

THE MEASUREMENTS OF NATURAL BACKGROUND RADIATION IN YALVAÇ ANTIOCHEIA PISIDIA ANTIQUE CITY OF TURKEY

Journal Name:

Publication Year:

Abstract (2. Language):
In this study, measurements were carried out with a Geiger-Mueller LND712 detector, Radiation Alert Monitor4, calibrated by Cesium 137 every month during one year in order to detect natural background radiation rate exposed by man in Yalvaç Antiocheia Pisidia Antique City of Isparta, Turkey. Measurements obtained in the morning, at noon and in the evening on condition of three times during one day have been changed according to months and seasons. Annual arithmetic mean radiation dose changes from 1.22 to 1.66 mSv/year.
